Wedding Photographer
Hey there! I am SO happy you are here. I've had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember and capturing real, everyday moments has always felt natural to me. I'm the type of person who brings my camera everywhere "just in case", because you never know when life is going to hand you a moment that deserves to be remembered forever. Photography has always been more than a hobby.. it is part of who I am.
Some of my earliest memories are doing little photoshoots with my momma when we were bored, or taking spontaneous trips to South Haven just to get pictures of the water. Looking back it is no surprise that I ended up right where I am.
After college, everything finally clicked into place. I officially started my professional journey in 2021 and launched my business in 2022. My editing style has grown into what feels the most "me" which is light & moody with that touch of photojournalistic & editorial flare. I want my photos to feel honest, emotional and truly real in the moment.
When my career began, I had the privilege of studying under Shawnia Preston from Oh Shoot Photography and she is still a mentor/ life long friend to me today. Any time she needs help, I am there every chance I get. She has taught me so much, encouraged me constantly, and helped me grow farther that I ever expected. I wouldn't be the photographer I am today without her guidance.
A little more about me
My all time favorite movie is The Princess Bride but I am completely OBSESSED with all things Harry Potter. I love hiking, walking 5k races, spending time with family and friends. I also love reading in my free time. Cozy nights in jammies with ice cream & peanut butter are a total must. Summer evenings eating junk food around a bonfire with friends? YES!
I am also lucky enough to have an incredible husband and the sweetest little boy who was born in January 2025. They are my entire world!
If I had to choose between being in the water or hiking in the forest... honestly, I don't think I could ever choose! I also love all animals. If there is a dog involved at a session... I will TOTALLY ask to pet it (with permission of course)! So enough about me.... Who are you? I'd love to chat and find out!
My approach
My approach to photography is all about bringing the real,, joy filled, genuine moments that make your story uniquely yours. I am your hype woman behind the camera who's cheering you on, giving you direction when you need it, and creating a space where you can fully relax and be yourselves. I stay organized so your session or wedding day flows smoothly, but I'm also flexible and ready to roll with anything that comes our way. If the light changes, weather shits, or timeline gets wild.... no worries! We adjust, keep the energy up and get your wedding vision to come to life anyway.
I shoot with a light & moody, photojournalistic meets editorial style. This means I focus on real emotions, natural movements and those inn between moments that are often everyone's favorites. Whether we are laughing through the portraits or tearing it up on the dance floor because OH YEAH! I will totally join you out there!. I am here to capture the honest, unscripted beauty of your day. My goal is always the same: to tell your story in that genuine, real, raw and emotional way that is intentional.
