I am SO glad you're here.

I've had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, and capturing real, everyday moments has always felt like second nature to me. I'm the person who brings my camera everywhere "just in case" because you never know when life is going to hand you a moment that deserves to be remembered forever.

To me, photography has always been more than just taking pictures. It's about preserving feelings, telling stories, and holding onto the little moments that make life so meaningful. Photography isn't just something I do… it's a part of who I am.

Some of my earliest memories are of creating little photoshoots with my momma when we were bored or taking spontaneous trips to South Haven just to photograph the water. Looking back, it makes perfect sense that those little moments would eventually lead me here.

After college, everything started falling into place. I officially began my professional photography journey in 2021 and launched In the Moment Photography LLC in 2022. Over time, my style has grown into something that feels completely like me: a blend of light and moody tones, documentary storytelling, and a touch of editorial flair.

I want my images to feel honest, emotional, and alive. The kind of photographs that bring you right back to the moment: the laughter, the happy tears, the quiet glances, and even the perfectly imperfect moments you never planned.

When I began building my career, I had the incredible opportunity to study under Shawnia Preston of Oh Shoot Photography. She continues to be a mentor, a lifelong friend, and one of the biggest influences in my journey. She has encouraged me, challenged me, and helped me grow in ways I never expected. I truly would not be the photographer I am today without her guidance and support.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me spending time with the people I love, getting lost in a good book, exploring the outdoors, or planning my next adventure.

My all-time favorite movie is The Princess Bride, but I am completely obsessed with all things Harry Potter. I love hiking, walking 5K races, cozy nights in my pajamas with ice cream and peanut butter, and summer evenings around a bonfire with friends (bonus points if there are snacks involved).

I'm incredibly lucky to have an amazing husband and the sweetest little boy, born in January 2025, who are truly my whole world.

If you ask me to choose between being near the water or wandering through the forest… honestly, I don't think I could pick. I love both. I also love all animals, so if there is a dog at your session, chances are I'll absolutely ask to say hello (with permission, of course)!
