What to Expect When Booking With Me


1. Inquire — Let's Talk!


The first step is easy! Fill out my inquiry form and tell me all about you! Whether you're planning your dream wedding, celebrating a milestone, or just want to capture this season of life, I want to hear all about it. Let me know which package you're interested in, and your inquiry will come straight to my inbox.


Once I receive it, I'll reach out to schedule a phone call so we can chat! This is one of my favorite parts because I get to hear your story, learn more about your vision, answer any questions you have, and make sure we're the perfect fit. I truly believe that the best photos happen when you feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely yourself.


2. Choose Your Package


After we've talked through everything, you'll choose the package that feels right for you! Not sure which one fits your vision? Don't worry—that's what I'm here for. I'll help you decide which experience best matches what you're looking for, so you feel confident moving forward.


Once you've chosen your package, we'll officially start bringing your vision to life!


3. Secure Your Date


Once you're ready to book, I'll send over everything you need to make it official—your client questionnaire, contract, and invoice.


Your questionnaire helps me get to know you beyond just names and dates. I want to learn about your relationship, your personalities, what moments mean the most to you, and all the little details that make your story yours. The more I know, the more intentional I can be when documenting your memories.


Once your contract is signed and your retainer has been paid, your date is officially reserved on my calendar! Cue the happy dance...you're officially booked!!


4. The Fun Begins!


Now comes my favorite part...planning your session! From helping you choose the perfect location to sending outfit tips and answering every random question that pops into your head, I'm here for it all.


When session day arrives, you don't have to worry about being "photogenic" or knowing exactly what to do. I'll guide you through the entire experience while leaving plenty of room for the genuine laughs, candid moments, and little in-between memories that make your gallery feel like *you*.


My biggest goal is for you to leave your session feeling like you just spent time making memories instead of "posing for pictures." The beautiful images are simply the bonus. 🤍

Confirm details

 

Before the shoot, we’ll plan the location, timing, and overall goals for the session together. I’ll help with recommendations around lighting, weather, outfits, timing, and any logistics needed to make the day run smoothly.

 

Shooting Day

 

Whether we’re shooting outdoors, traveling between locations, or documenting an activity, I aim to create an easygoing environment where everyone can focus on the experience while I capture it naturally.

 

After the shoot

 

Once the adventure is over, I carefully edit and curate the images  to reflect the feeling of the experience as honestly as possible. You will receive a private online gallery after the shoot, with an easy way to download the photos within the specified timeframe discussed between us

FAQ's

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR PHOTOSHOOTS?

I do travel in the state of Michigan and do not charge a travel fee unless the trip is 3+ hours one way

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

I got you! After booking, I'll send over my outfit guide with lots of tips and inspiration to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully while still feeling like you. My biggest advice? Wear something you're comfortable and confident in. When you feel good, it always shows in your photos.

CAN I ADD A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER FOR OUR WEDDING?

Yes you sure can! Adding a second photographer will be $50/per hour investment onto any package

DO YOU OFFER HELP WITH TIMELINE FOR WEDDINGS?

Yes I do! We will work together on it in the beginning, then 3 months before your wedding and finalize it 2 weeks prior on our final meeting.

DO YOU HELP WITH PLANNING OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

YES! You pick the place & we will figure out the date/time together. If the place is indoors, I will contact them to make sure we have permission to photograph there. If they require a deposit/ payment to photograph there it is the responsibility of the client.

IF WEATHER IS BAD & I WANT TO BOOK A STUDIO, WHO COVERS THAT FEE?

The fee to rent a studio will be the responsibility of the client & will be added onto the invoice. If you decide to cancel the studio session, their deposit is non refundable then you will not receive a return from the studio.

CAN I ADD MORE TIME ONTO MY WEDDING PACKAGE?

You sure can! If you would like to add more time, please let me know with a minimum week in advance. If you want more hours added on the day of the additional payment (cost of those extra hours) will be due on the morning of your wedding

WE'RE AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA... HELP!

promise you're not alone! Most of my clients tell me they've never had professional photos taken or feel awkward being in front of a camera. The good news? That's my job! I'll guide you the entire time with movement, prompts, and lots of conversation so nothing ever feels stiff or overly posed. By the end of your session, it'll feel more like hanging out than taking photos.
